  1. Kia ora Zac,

My name is Hazel and I am part of the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) team. I’ll be helping Allie and the team out in Toki Pounamu over the Christmas holidays.

You have done a great job of working out whether some of the facts are true or false - ka pai. How old is the oldest known fish? What are some other interesting facts that you know about fish?

Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing more of your posts soon.

    Hazel :)

    1. Hi Hazel,

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I think the oldest fish is 68 years old. Here is a fact I know about fish. The fastest fish in the world is the Sailfish. It can swim up to 110 km!

      Thanks

      Zac

    2. Hi Zac,

I hope that you had a great New Year and have been enjoying your summer holidays so far. WOW, 110km/hour! That is a very quick fish. Where do Sailfish live?

Keep up the great work Zac,

      Hazel :)

    3. Hi Hazel,

Costa Rica & Guatemala are known for Sailfish but they can live in Hawaii, Australia and parts of Asia.

      From Zac :)
