Week 2, Day 2, Activity 2- School Strike for Climate

Facts that I have learnt-

  1. I found out that they strike from their schools so they can tell the politicians that they need to take their future seriously
  2.  I found out that they have demands that they want the politicians to meet
  3. I also found out that they want Australia to be powered by the natural elements like the sun and wind.

Me and my Family do a lot of things to do our bit to help the Earth like using metal drink bottle, using beeswax wraps, reusable bags, making our own compost and stuff like that.

  1. Hi Zac,

Great job on this blog post. These are great things that You have learned about and how You do Your part to help the Earth! I try to use bees wax wraps to wrap up my sandwiches and other food. What do You wrap up with Your bees wax wraps?

    Keep up the good work,

    Caitlyn :)

  2. Hello Zac,
Great to see you blogging this holidays. Your finding out about Australia and the wish of the climate change activists to have Australians use natural power such as sun and wind is interesting. Maybe the focus is on Australia because they have such high use of other energy sources. I think it is great that you do what you can to make items sustainable.

  3. Hello Zac,

It’s Beren from the Summer Learning Journey team. How are your holidays going?

I haven’t seen a post from you in a little while, do you think you will post again soon? It would be so cool to see you try a few more activities! Remember, you don’t have to do the activities in order, have a look and see which ones interest you:
