pobble swamplife

One sloppy day a dirt biker named Max was bobbing  down a swamp on one tyer, SUDDENLY a huge swamp monster appeared

It had trees  on its back and moss on its tummy its name was

Swampasuris rex. It was going to stomp on max but all  of a sudden 4 elfs came swinging on vines and started attacking the monster with small swords and axes. then the Elf leader gave max a big hammer so max swung on a vine and  hit the monster and it head fell off and max went to his home. the end

My winter holiday

The weird - it's weird that there was nothing weird about my holiday


The wonderful - in the holidays i went to hammer springs we went on a bike track but i didn't end up going because my gears wont not work so i went back with my Mum to are holiday home. Me Jess and caitlyn went to the lolly pot i got a sour gecko and two gummy pizza's. the next day we went to the hot pool. i went to christchurch with caitlyn and went went to go see the movie secret life of pets 2 and me caitlyn me my nana and cason jakekib went ice skating. My sisters went to Auckland and well they were in Auckland i went to go see toy story 4 with my Mum



The worst - the worst was the end of my holiday and going home to my sister's

the kiwi chreche

Our site went on a school trip to the Kiwi Creche.We split up into 3 groups. One group had lunch , another group went and saw a kiwi an the last group was learning about stoat traps. One of the kiwi's were called Royal. Royal was getting her health check, her bill had grown quite a bit. After all of the group's had done all the activities we all went to plant trees. Ray gave as all a tree and worked as over to where we were going to plant them it was around a old stump. We didn't have to dig the hole's because they were all ready bin dug. After we had planted the trees we got are bag's and went back to school.     

School camp 2019 - shantytown

On camp room 8 went to shantytown some of the best memories i have is doing mimhs and making hunt's,making greenstone necklace,gold panning. With a day full of fun stuff it was finally time to go to bed we played some games before we went to bed. The next day we got up and packed our stuff up and got put in team's. One team built a raft another group tried to make fire with two sticks and makeda ladder and a nather team cooked a Ti koukou tree.

Coordinates & Mapwork

This term room 8 has deen learning coordinates & mapping. We learned how to work a compass and  one of the activities was making a map of the school  and then the teacher picked only one of them and hid treasure there whole class followed the map and we found the treasure. It was two packets of chocolate. Another activities we did was floorplans. First we had a look at a picture of a floor plan and then we had to partner up and do the floorplans of the classroom.

our fisrt term

My first term back at school so much changed i had a new teacher new students we also did a pi-day and valentine's day.On pi-day our class play the game pie face luckily i didn't get pie faced for valentine's day the class got given cups and the class filled them up with lollies and gave them the old people in the rest home.My friend gave me a pencil with green hair & two googly eye's his name is Burt.our new teacher now bye's harry potter lego when we get 100 buttons and there is a lego club.The lego club is the people how build the lego sets we also have a display shelf so hur we have two lego sets one from the fantastic beast and a harry potter one.

yesterday in room 8 we made paper planes.we did a competition of who's paper plane flies the forest.
First place was jono second was stella and third was jessica.
